The tables at our meeting place really were quite full & gave the place a happy vibe like it had some pull. Col was there with his pic machine, showing views of Georgia's party, some of the cozzies at the gig looked quite sheek while others looked quite (f)arty. Sixteen bikes lined Emerald Street attracting Oohs & Aahs while a couple of those Italian jobs, slipped in between our (engine) bars. Riders mingled on the street and chatted with the locals, while Magpie Goose, who drove today, tied to snap a few in focus. Heading out, north again, we rode through sunny lanes, Pomona, Nik Nik and out to the Widge and a creek stop to ease our pains. Some more chatting and some happy snaps then on we rode again, till a few turned right & south, to leave the rest to travel east to find stuff for their mouths. The Nik Nik Pub a final stop, to lunch and have a drink. Another lovely day for Geese, good fun, good riding, don't you think? Thanks to all those that showed, to those that rode and those that came to brekkie, We are thinking hard for next months meet and will undertake a recce. Stay tooned for the new meet place for JUNE.

Pam Boal Rides On

Some of us may know Pam Boal whose tragic death on the Warrego Hwy near Chinchilla recently, has sadden the Sunshine Coast Motorcycling fraternity.

While she & husband, Dave where returning from their M/C Adventure honeymoon, Pam was taken out by a driver who had lost control of his car. Pam & Dave were married on 21 April 2012. Her funeral will be held at Mt Cotton on Friday 18 May.

All The Wild Geese, our friends & families, wish to offer our heartfelt condolences to David and the members of Girl Torque MCC.

On Any Sunday Mar 4th Kieran was welcomed on his first, eventful ride with us. Kieran who hails from a wee, green island in da' Atlantic, is a countryman of Tiny Goose. Daffy Goose, (a slight play on his name) rides a handsome blue, black & white K1200RS.

Chris Vermeulen is now associated with Moto Life, formerly known as Coastline Motorrad at Currimundi. If you haven't been there lately you will notice some BIG changes in that the range of bikes has expanded greatly. In the not to distant future, the team at Motolife will be moving to newly constructed showrooms on Caloundra Road near Bunnings where the full range of BMW, Moto Guzzi, Husky, Aprilias (& scooters) will be displayed. Wild Geese are always welcome to drop in for a coffee, a chat & a test ride too.

It is anticipated that we will head south west to Esk & on to Lake Moogerah.

Then, depending on time left in the day, one of two routes to the famous Killarney Pub.

Route 1: Mount Alford - Lions Road & Summerland Way /Mt Lindsay Road to Woodenbong then Killarney

Route 2: Mount Alford - Carneys Creek - The Head - Queen Mary Falls - Killarney.

Either way, a great ride and great scenery for all to enjoy.

On the return Sun 27 May - Killarney - Emu Vale - Yangan - Freestone - Clintonvale -Goomburra - Spring Creek - Ma Ma Creek -Gatton - Esk - Kilcoy - HOME.

It's been quite awhile since we all Gathered & Flocked Off some where so, give it some thought, get ya pillion on & Ride.

Any Thursday rides are up & running with many done & dusted. We usually meet at the Cafe near Joes Water Hole in Eumundi main street but keep an eye out for an SMS or email the day before in case of any changes. It's all at a moment's notice but then that is often the way of things. If anyone wants company on a ride at any time, just put out a note or word the day before & see what happens. We can meet anywhere really. Stay Tooned.
