Last Sunday In Month Easy Ride For 25th November 2007
    Hi Guys. If a ride hasn't already been suggested for the 25th November 'Last Sunday in the Month Easy Ride' (that even though is open to all, is particularly sensitive to the needs of pillion riders, and new and intermediate riders), could I suggest the ride from Coolum to Kenilworth via Dulong, Palmwoods, Eudlo, Mooloolah, Landsborough, Peachester, Booroobin, Conondale via Postman Track and Policeman Spur Road, and Cambroon via Eastern Mary River Road.

    My guess is that in adhering to posted speed limits it will take about 1.5 hours from Coolum to Peachester, and about 1 hour from Peachester to Kenilworth. If we leave the Coolum Coffee Club as near as possible to 9:00 AM, we have time to stop for coffee at the Peachester Fruit & Veg and Landscape business at around 10:30, leave there at 11:00 and arrive Kenilworth around noon for lunch.

    From Kenilworth people can decide if they want to go further on up to Imbil etc, or cut down to Eumundi, or up to Mapleton via Obi Obi. I'm happy to be tail-end-charlie or near. I'm open to criticism of my proposal, and am happy to go with alternative suggestions.

    I realise there is a general rule that for the 'On Any Sunday' rides, "Those that show will choose where to go". However, given the 'Last Sunday in the Month Easy Ride' focus, it may be useful for interested parties to have a rough idea of the route, and the ride times beforehand. I understand the 'On Any Sunday' rides and the 'Last Sunday in the Month Easy' rides are not mutually exclusive, both can run on the same day, simultaneously. Cheers to all. Tony.
