Located 2km from the main road on the bank of Gheerulla Creek amidst rugged landscape with sheer cliffs and intriguing rock formations. Activities include swimming, bushwalking, hiking and trail bike riding. Riders must obtain a permit and must be licensed with registered motorcycles. Facilities are barbecues, drinking water, picnic tables and toilets. Firewood is supplied. Dogs are allowed overnight, however they must remain under control and on a leash at all times. A self-serve camping system operates. Obtain your camping permit at the camping area, complete the form and deposit your camping fees (as cash, cheque or credit card number) in the box at the camping registration sign or hut. Facilities are provided for rubbish disposal. Access by conventional vehicle via the Eumundi-Kenilworth Road, 6 km east of Kenilworth.
