The gang gathered as usual at the Coolum Caff, then gathered again at Don and Helen's place to meet up with the Ulysses and Girl Torque contingents. We rode in convoy to Caloundra, shot the breeze with the many friends gathered there, then rode in big, slow, very hot convoy through the coastal streets to the Alex Surf Life Saving Club where we shot the breeze some more (and rehydrated). A little socialising is sometimes enough, so passenger Jillian and I soon headed off for a 'proper bike ride' up through the hills to Maleny, back down again to Peachester, back up to Montville and then settled in for an extended lunch at the Penefathing. Another fine day in paradise. -- Gizmo
