The run is to be held on Sunday 5th December and will this year start at two locations, Stocklands shopping centre Caloundra and the public carpark adjacent to Noosa J theatre in Noosa Drive, Noosa Junction. Both locations will assemble from 8am for a 10am start under police escort to travel to Ettamogah at Aussie World at Palmview. Those starting at Caloundra will this year travel through Golden Beach and over Buderim. Those from Noosa Junction will travel the length of David Low Way then the Motorway to the Ettamogah. There is no cost to participate. Badges will be $5 and there will be a multi-draw raffle with the major prize a $1000 outdoor setting.

This year's run will benefit the Pyjama Foundation which supports children in foster care and provides a literacy programme to help these children improve the much needed literacy skills required in today's society. The organisers are asking for not only the usual toys and non perishable food items but also books for children 0-17yrs and in particular special interest books for teenagers.
