My first Beemer was an R1150R of '02 vintage. Naturally it matched my professional colour (red). For in a previous life I was a fireman for thirty years (you get less for murder) in the UK. Jag takes over the R1150R, Mick takes delivery of a new R1200ST - still in fireman red.

As of January 2006 Mick rides a K1200S, nicknamed the Bumble Bee, and becomes Bumble Goose instead of Fire Goose! The end of an era of red bikes for Mick.
