Got my R1150GS at Xmas 2003 to have some rides around the coast with my son (Josef junior). After getting all the gear for him he told me it is boring on the bike and everytime he comes along he falls asleep on the back of the bike. Nearly sold the bike late 2004 but after flogging around with the goose members 
I changed my mind and am enjoying every ride we have. 
Moved April 2007 to Dubai and had to sell my Bike. It was a sad day 
but i found a good home for the bike. The bike in the Dubai is a 650GS which has seen some great rides through the desert & mountains here UAE with our club, Sahari Riders. Our trip to Coolum in April 2008 was great to catch up with the Wild Geese and the motto, "here to ride, not to socialise" had to be changed around a bit. Even so, great to ride with you all again.
