My KTM finally saw some dirt roads again at the start of this month. Patrice and I met up at Chez Andre in Peregian Springs, had a cup of coffee, waited for Noi to come out with the jump leads to sort out the still flat battery on my KTM (I really must get out more), then headed straight onto the gravel. Patrice was on his 450 KTM so it was only quality machinery on this ride :evil

Pretty much all dirt roads as far as Yandina, then back on the dirt at the outskirts of Yandina. We joined the Eumundi-Kenilworth road for a reasonably long stretch of tar, getting back onto the loose stuff just outside Kenilworth on the road to Imbil. A nice little loop brought us out on the Conondale side of Kenilworth, then back onto the dirt to Jimna via the Charlie Morelands forestry office. Fast gravel on the 'main drag' from Jimna, then back down through the forest to Kandanga for lunch. Refuelled in body and bike (the 450 has a larger than standard tank but was still on reserve by the time we got to the pub), we took the road back to Kenilworth and retraced our dirt tracks back to Yandina.

Each headed for home a little dustier than at the start of the day. Just the way we like it.

More such rides are planned for the near future, hope a few more trail riders can make the next one.
