The Wild Geese

Four Flew South

Saturday 7 saw JAG, Jamie, Peter & Rob head south to the Lions Rd and Border Ranges. An excellent ride was had by all and it was an easy run to the climb up thru the Lions Rd, with bends, scenery, more bends and a few more. Meeting up with other BM's at the Loop Lookout then on to Kyogle.

The Lions Road The Border The Loop Lookout

Murwillimbah & overnight in the big pink hotel was cheap and comfy & the pool table got a good work out that night. Rob would make Eddy Charlton cry. Needless to say he was thrashed by one & all. Food was good, rooms were cheap & cheerful.

Sunday morning saw 'em heading up the mountains through Tyalgum with more great views & roads to the Border.

Leaving Tyalgum

A stop at Natural Bridge with a stroll in the forest to take in the air and more great road through a lovely part of the country. Hinze Dam was Pete's suggestion for breakfast and this was a good one and a meeting point for many bikers.

O'Reilly's was next for a very brief visit, indeed a turn around in the car park and back down the mountain to Canungra where the Four Feathered Flying Friends parted company for home. Half went up the highway & half through the hills via Tamborine and back thru Esk. A great trip for two wheels & well worth a visit. We'll be there again soon.
