Bell Thorpe
Setting off from the Cafe at 0900, a flock of 5 travelled out to Kenilworth, Eastern Mary River, Crystal Waters, up to Bellthorpe and Stoney Creek Road to Woodford and back. Great scenery this time too as we had not been right to the end of the Bellthorpe Raod and beyond before.
Our new member, Paul (no nickname yet) on his 30 year old R 90 aquitted himself very well on the gravel roads, keeping pace (if not passing) the GS's. (If he ever gets a GS, well... look out).
Heading home we found Guzzi Goose, covered in grease, on the side of the road and after a bit of good humour,(more like laughing from Gizmo, Rob & Josef), and mechanical aptitude, (thanks to Paul), Guzzi was on the road again.
[Footnote: Watch the intersection of Skyring Creek and Cooroy/Belli Roads, the gravel there is wicked. Its now renamed as Gizmo's Corner] -- actually they have finally cleaned up this corner: swept away the gravel and filled some of the potholes -- Gizmo
