The Wild Geese

Any Week Day Thurs 25Somerset Sanger Ride

Forecast: Showers. Reality: Bewdiful Day.

There were 8 others at the EPO for the off with Newby Helen T on her Bandit who officially joining the WGMC with a subtle presentation of badge & bike logo. Subtle coz she was there before anyone & had parked on the other side of the road. Who would have known! A straight ride out to Bell Bird Cafe for coffee then out thru Conondale, Bellthorpe, Villenue to Kilcoy & onto Somerset for lunch by the lake. All good. No time for Mt Glorious as we talked too much. Oh well there's always another day and as they are getting cooler, well worth the wait. Good to see Sue D with us after a long lapse, as too, Jo E, Mick & Gary on the Tiger is becoming a regular.

will have to ensure that the ride details are passed to Ozzie verbally, orally, in writing, via email, sms, & maybe a telegram:o It was Sangers NOT Snags but you seemed to be enjoying the BBQ anyway. Ozzie & Jan are off to Europe this Sat. We all wish them a Safe Journey & Return. Bon Voyage.:] ps, Ozzie we will all take turns to keep the Duke running smoothly:lol

Kilcoy Stop. Lunch @ the Lake. Three Suzies Sandwich Micks R1200R.

Note: Pleasing to see our Wild Geese Spirit continues when, without patronising, more experienced riders point out the occasional hazards or situations for our newer members.
