The Wild Geese

Any Sunday June 25

What a lovely dayB) And the line up at The Cafe was a good one. The usual regulars and some not so. With a small contingent heading off road, the rest set off to the Hinterland & Woodford where a goodly number with Mick leading stopped for morning refreshments. (What a social bunch!!) I had to go off to work, which has to change soon damn it. Glad to see that many are still keeping to the motto: Ride to enjoy, Not to Annoy See you again soon, Rob

JAG's Report

Some of the "mud Geese" flocked off to a favourite mud route which left about ten or so "tar Geese" to head off to Woodford via Dulong, Landsborough, Peachester and returned via Maleny, Conondale, Kenilworth, Cooroy and home.

All riders were able to keep within cooee of the rest of the bunch with markers at strategic turns. When we arrived at the destination we got there together, when we left we left together and apart from a squirt around the "bendy" bits the group was always allowed to regroup on the straights.

It's this type of ride that is the safest for bunch rides as well as allowing all levels of skills to partake without working outside of their riding level.
