The Wild Geese

It happened again. Another Any Sunday and a small but very enthusiastic group turned out on another lovely day at the Coolum Coffee Club. Indeed the “Coffey's” from Maleny were there for the first time and a warm welcome do we give. Hope to see you on a ride with us soon.(The beach won them over). A couple(literally) headed for the river and Mike headed home to care for his Dear Mum to whom we send our best wishes & positive thoughts for a speedy healing.:) (Got the flu).

That left a few (6) to pursue Road Map Rob across the fields to the hills and on to the GHM via the best wine-dees on the coast (Dulong Range, Eudlo & Tunnel Hill) but not before we all heard about Muz's Northern Trip (slip). Lucky he has that 'ole R90S (which he drowned with fuel whilst having his coffee, but it did fire up with some coaxing from Tor) & away we went.

New roads for some were had to the GHM for a stop at the lookout and a gaze at the mountains before a ride out through the pineapple farms to Wamuran and up Campbells Pkt Rd to Mt Mee and down again to Woodford, Bellthorpe and the SRR to Tranquil Park Pub for lunch. Meeting there with 3 x GT who related dittys about fizz bikes stuffing up the ride from Kenilworth.(Happening a bit lately)X-(.

Even so, all in all, another pleasant day in the hinterland. See you next Any Sunday.:]
